OUR STORY
The Origin
We didn't start as a software company. We started by looking at why the best tradespeople were losing out to the loudest marketers.
I started in health sciences, focused on systems and outcomes. But when I shifted my focus to the trades, I saw a fundamentally broken system. It’s inherently unfair that great contractors, the craftsmen who actually fix the problem right the first time, lose opportunities because they lack the proper online systems.
This reality hit hardest for the most underserved tradespeople: those relying entirely on word-of-mouth, non-native English speakers, and busy contractors running crews from the cab of their truck. They were bleeding revenue—not because of their skills, but because of their systems.
MAIS is what I built to fix that.
